Shangyew Group (henceforth, ‘Shangyew’) comprises two companies: Shangyew Public Accounting Corporation (‘Shangyew PAC’) and Shangyew Management Pte Ltd (‘Shangyew Management’). The former is a public accounting firm that was established in 2006, incorporating the predecessor company Gui Kim Young & Company, founded by Mr. Gui, FCA Singapore in year 1981. Shangyew Management is in charge of all things related to the broad domain of Corporate Secretarial Practice, as well as Accounting. Our entire group thus has an operating history of about 40 years, and is a well-established company in Singapore.

We have been serving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore for many years, through a range of services which are often needed and/or requested by our clients. These services generally fall into four broad categories:

(2) Taxation Services
(3) Bookkeeping and Accounting Services
(4) Corporate Secretarial Services

For Auditing and Assurance Services, we generally work on Statutory Audits and Compilation cases. However, we are also willing and able to take on other jobs involving Special Audits, Due Diligence, Forensic Accounting, Liquidation and Receivership. For Taxation Services, we handle mainly Corporate Tax matters, but also has the ability and capacity to take on Personal Tax-related cases. For Corporate Secretarial Services, we cover a wide range of tasks involving company formation and on-going compliance with statutory requirements. Mr. Gui Kim Young
Managing Director

Mr. Gui Kim Young graduated from Nanyang University, Singapore, with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accountancy degree in 1973. He commenced his career with KPMG Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. in October 1973. Three years later, he joined Lee Yeok Chai & Co. and was admitted as a partner in 1977. Since 1981, he was practising under the accounting firm, Gui Kim Young & Co., which was converted to Shangyew Public Accounting Corporation in August 2006. Mr. Gui had also been active in grassroots and community works in Singapore for many years, and in 1995 he received a Long Service Award from People’s Association (PA) in recognition of his 15 years of voluntary service to the community. He is also a long-standing council member of the Association of Nanyang University Graduates and the Nanyang Gwee Clan Association, where he is currently president. He is a practising fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a member of the Institute of Directors. His experience covers audits of various types of small and medium-sized enterprises, schools and societies. He also practises as a liquidator and tax accountant, and has been providing business advisory services since 1981.
